Virtual reality is a technology that lets people live in a virtual world. VR creates immersive and interactive 3D settings, unlike standard 2D computer graphics and video games. VR is a technology that lets people feel like they are in a different place. Visuals, sounds, and other virtual information make up this simulated world.

Immersive, semi-immersive, and non-immersive VR are the most frequent kinds. Fully immersive simulations employ headsets or glasses that divide the image between your eyes and follow your interaction to provide a real, realistic experience.

VR technology lets people experience a virtual environment, such as a video game or a scene from the real world. A computer creates these virtual worlds using powerful graphics and computer vision techniques.

To build this virtual world, the computer must make 3D pictures that move and interact with the user. For this, you need a VR headset with specific lenses and controllers with sensors that let you move about in these 3D worlds and control them.

For example, medical students may utilize VR to study anatomy by travelling around a virtual human body that they can change differently. This lets them try out their talents before surgery on a real person.

VR may also be used in marketing, where it can provide clients with individualized experiences that aren't possible with conventional forms of media. It can also be used to create digital shops on metaverse platforms. This lets firms show off their items in high-definition images without establishing actual stores or even leaving their offices.

It is also utilized in architecture, design, tourism, and many other sectors. For example, travel businesses may make a virtual tour of their sites that customers can use to get a feel for the place before they ever get there.
